Ryan Holohan

Ryan is a muscular therapist who specializes in deep tissue sports massage. He has worked with marathon runners and triathletes since 2002 and received the Best in Boston award in 2006 for best massage. In 2004 Ryan opened a private practice in Cambridge and also taught massage at the Muscular Therapy Institute.
Since 2006 Ryan has worked side by side with personal trainers to learn more about athletic performance and deepen his knowledge of sports biomechanics. Ryan has worked with all levels of athletes from beginners to professional and continues to help them achieve their performance goals with regularly scheduled massages.
His style mixes stretching with slow deep strokes that are specific to the structural needs of the person. Although the atmosphere of his office is soothing and spa-like the treatments are more vigorous and goal oriented allowing athletes to break through their common holding patterns.
